Asbestos Testing & Sampling
Our expert asbestos consultants can take samples of possible asbestos-containing materials at your residential property and have them tested at an approved IANZ lab. Asbestos Surveys
If your house was built or renovated between the 1940s and the 1980s it is likely to have some form of asbestos related material within it. Virotech can complete anything from a simple sampling/testing process or a full survey. An asbestos survey is an excellent way to understand where the asbestos is so that the right plan can be implemented to manage it. If any renovation or demolition work is to be undertaken, either an asbestos refurbishment or demolition survey are required to be undertaken. Asbestos Air Monitoring & Clearance
Following the removal of asbestos, the area must be carefully inspected. If the removal is deemed to be Class A (airborne asbestos during removal), then the clearance approval can only be undertaken by an independent WorkSafe NZ licensed assessor such as Virotech. Air monitoring is undertaken to ensure the asbestos at the residential property is contained.
