Asbestos Testing, Surveys & Clearances
Our expert consultants can take samples of possible asbestos-containing materials and have them tested at an approved IANZ lab. Virotech can turn samples around in 24 hrs and sometimes on the same day if extremely urgent. Virotech can also manage the removal process or recommend a reputable removal partner.
Asbestos Surveys
Any commercial or industrial building constructed before 2000 is required to have an asbestos survey. Virotech can advise on, and complete, all the surveys for your requirements (Management, Demolition, Refurbishment).

Once asbestos has been removed, the area must be carefully inspected. If the removal is deemed to be Class A (airborne asbestos during removal), then the clearance approval can only be undertaken by an independent WorkSafe NZ licensed assessor such as Virotech. Air monitoring is undertaken to ensure the asbestos is contained.
